Millikin Women’s Tennis Ends Season with Victory

         The Millikin women's tennis team closed out its 2018-19 season with a 6-2 win at Blackburn College in Carlinville, Illinois on April 9.
         Millikin won two points in doubles play with Danielle Beard teaming with Shelby Jones to win at number one doubles 8-0 and Morgan Bettner and Alena Hinch joining forces to win at number two 8-3.
         The Big Blue added four singles wins with Beard winning at number one singles 6-2, 5-7, 10-6. Jones won at number two singles 6-0, 4-6, 10-6. Katie Cooper was victorious at three singles 6-1, 6-3 and Hinch won 6-2, 6-2 at number four.
         Millikin ends the season at 6-13.
