Big Blue Men’s Tennis Wins Ninth Straight

         The Millikin men's tennis team won its ninth straight match defeating Elmhurst College on April 12. High winds forced the match to move indoors at the Decatur Athletic Club. 
         Millikin improved to 12-3, 4-0. Elmhurst falls to 4-6, 1-1.
         Millikin won five singles matches with Jacob Palley winning 6-1, 6-2 at number one singles and Greg Schwoeppe taking the number two singles match 4-6, 6-4, 10-5. Logan Bennett won at three singles (6-0, 6-1) and Holden Owens won at four singles (6-2, 6-4). Nick Laramee won 6-1, 6-3 at five singles.
         Palley and Sandgren won at number one doubles 8-2 and Schwoeppe and Bennett won at two doubles 8-3.
         Millikin won two points by default.
         Millikin plays Augustana on April 13 at 10:45 a.m.
