STEVENS POINT, Wis. - Day two of the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Invitational kicked off at noon for the Big Blue as they faced the Pointers from UW - Stevens Point, followed by another match against UW- Stout. Millikin would fall in both games, ending the weekend 0-3. 

In the first match of the day, the Big Blue would be unable to post a win against the Pointers, but would come close to forcing a fourth set by coming within two points in the third set of the match. The Big Blue would end the match with final scores of 25-14, 25-13, and 25-23. 

Millikin would go on to face  UW - Stout in their final match of the weekend, but would be stopped short by the Blue Devils. Senior Marissa McElroy and freshman Tori Stuart would lead the match with nine kills a piece, while Rose Syversen continued to pad her assisting stats, posting a match-leading 21 assists. Another freshman making a splash this year for the Big Blue, Sarah Porter, recorded three blocks, bringing her season total to 28 to lead the team in blocks on the year. 

Millikin returns home on Wednesday, September 25 to face North Central College at 7:00 PM for a conference matchup at the Griswold Center.
