The Millikin men's soccer team scored a 2-1 overtime victory over DePauw University on September 25 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur.
The Big Blue scored the game winning goal with 2:49 left in the first overtime when
Andreas Raaket found the back corner of the net off a great pass from
Simen Nodland.
Raaket scored Millikin's first goal in the 62nd minute with the assist going to
Connor Foley and
Dalton Gilbert.
DePauw tied the game at the 74:27 mark on a goal from Jake Limauro.
Jon Kuebler had four saves in goal for Millikin.
The Big Blue are now 4-3-1 while DePauw falls to 5-3. Millikin opens College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action on Saturday, September 28 when they host North Central College at 2:30 p.m. during Homecoming.
