Big Blue Men’s Soccer Downs Aurora

          The Millikin men's soccer team improved to 2-1 on the season defeating Aurora University 3-1 on September 7 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
          Millikin scored its first goal in the final 10 minutes of the first half on a goal by Bradyn Nokes with the assist going to Russell Pruitt.
          Millikin scored twice within three minutes in the second period starting with another Nokes goal at the 77:19 mark.  Nokes scored on a free kick from 40 yards out.
Freshman AJ Sullivan scored on another free kick to make it 3-0 Millikin.
          Aurora got one the board in the final three minutes when Matt Napolitono scored off a cross from Julio Acosta.
          Jon Kuebler was the winning goalie for the Big Blue recording four saves.
          Millikin will play at Fontbonne University on September 11.
