Big Blue Men’s Basketball Loses at #17 Elmhurst

         The Millikin men's basketball team lost at #17 Elmhurst College 87-75 on February 15 in Elmhurst, Illinois.
         The Bluejays led at halftime 49-33.  Millikin outscored the Bluejays by three points in the second half, but that was not enough to overcome the deficit.
         Millikin shot 41 percent (26-64) from the field while making 9-24 (37.5 percent) from three-point range. Elmhurst made 56 percent (34-61) from the field and went 10-22 (45.5 percent) from beyond the arc.  Millikin won the rebounding battle 39-35.
         Senior Korbin Farmer led Millikin with a double double with career high 16 points and 12 rebounds. Troy Burrows had 15 points followed by Jake Hampton with 14 with five assists. Sam Stichnote scored 10 points and had five assists.
         Derek Dotlich led Elmhurst with 26 points followed by Jay Militello with 20.
         Millikin falls to 4-19, 1-3 while Elmhurst improves to 19-5, 10-5.
