Big Blue Men Suffer Road Loss to Open Season

The Millikin men's basketball team lost at Carthage College 83-57 on January 23, 2021 in Kenosha, Wis. to open the 2020-21 season.
 
Carthage led 43-26 at the half and shot 51 percent from the field for the game.  Carthage was 11-24 (46 percent) from three-point range.  Millikin shot 39 percent from the field and went 3-14 from three-point range.  Millikin won the rebounding battle 40-27.
 
Millikin was led in scoring by Jarius Ingram with 20 points followed by Calvin Fisher with 17. 
 
Joshua Washburn led Carthage with 20 points followed by Fillip Bulatovic with 15.
 
The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin's special pandemic schedule has the two teams playing again on Monday, January 25 this time at the Griswold Center in Decatur.  No fans will be allowed at the game.
