Big Blue Men’s Soccer Edged by Pioneers

The Millikin men's soccer team lost a conference matchup at Carroll University 2-1 on October 16 in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
 
After a scoreless first period, Carroll took a 1-0 lead at 51:56 when Anthony Buffington converted a penalty kick.
 
The Big Blue battled back and tied the game at 56:16 with Weston Fallert scoring and Johannes Smaaberg and Alessardo Desario getting credit for the assist.
 
The Pioneers, who out shot Millikin 28-4 in the game, scored the game winner in the 82nd minute on a goal from Zane Walters.
 
Millikin falls to 1-9-2, 1-3-1 while Carroll goes to 8-4-1, 1-2-1.
