Men’s Soccer Edged by Titans

The Millikin men's soccer team los 4-2 to Illinois Wesleyan University on October 27 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
 
Millikin got on the board first scoring at 20:45 on a goal from Ludvig Lindmark with an assist to Alessandro Desario. The Titans answered right back on a goal off a direct kick by Zack Kokes.
 
Millikin then scored a few seconds later when Johannes Smaaberg found the net with the assist to Floris Goldschmeding to make it 2-1 Big Blue.
 
The Titans scored three unanswered goals in the second half to pull out the victory. Kokes added his second goal in the 48th minute and Justin Hart and CJ Rodriguez scored goals to round out the Titan scoring.
 
Millikin goalkeeper Jon Kuebler record five saves giving him 56 saves in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin action this season. Kuebler is four saves short of tying the CCIW records for saves in a season at 60.
 
Millikin concludes the 2021 season on October 30 when they host Wheaton College at 1:30 p.m.
