Women’s Soccer Falls at Illinois Wesleyan

The Millikin women's soccer team lost at College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin contest at Illinois Wesleyan University 3-1 on October 27 in Bloomington, Illinois.
 
The Titans led 1-0 at the half after a goal from Caelyn Steffens. Illinois Wesleyan broke open the game seven minutes into the second half when Izzy Mitra scored two goals within one minute to make it a 3-0 Titans lead.
 
Millikin got on the board in the 67th minute on a goal from Maddy Wood her eighth goal on the season.
 
Millikin is now 8-7, 3-4 while Illinois Wesleyan improves to 8-7-1, 6-1. The Big Blue close out the 2021 season on October 30 when they host Wheaton College at 11 a.m.
