Women's Cross Country Fifth at CCIW Championships

The Millikin men's and women's cross country had a strong day at the 2021 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Championships held at St. James Farm in Warrenville, Illinois. The Big Blue men had three runs earn All-Conference honors and finished in third place. The Millikin women were fifth with two runners earning All-Conference honors.

Millikin's Dane Alexander set a new school record in the men's 8K race finishing in 12th place in 25:28.8. Austin Bridgman was 17th at 25:59.9 and Bradyn Olmstead finished in 19th in 26:05.8. The top 20 finishes earned all three runs All-Conference Second Team honors.

North Central won the men's race with 18 points followed by Augustana with 75. Millikin and Carthage each finished with 86.

Hailey O'Malley and Quincy Collings earned All-Conference Second Team honors. O'Malley finished in 15th place in 23:13.5 while Collings was 16th in 23:19.9. Collings time was the eighth fastest in school history.
