The Big Blue women's volleyball team traveled to Bloomington, Ill. on Thursday, November 4 for a CCIW Semifinal matchup. Millikin was swept by the top-seeded Titans. 

Lauren Brummel led the Big Blue in kills with eight. Jessi Kreder chipped in six and Tori Stuart added five. Reece Brown tallied 23 assists, and Julianna Vassallo tallied the top number of digs with 17. 

Illinois Wesleyan took the first set 25-14, then notched a win in set two by a score of 25-19. Millikin held a lead in the third set by a 16-8 margin before the Titans used a 5-0 run to pull within three, then exploded on a 10-0 run to take a 23-18 advantage. The Big Blue used a block by Kreder and Stuart to extend the match, but the Titans tallied a kill to take a 25-20 third set victory. 

With the loss, the  Big Blue finished their season with a 20-11 record.
