Millikin Women’s Basketball Hits 100 in Win over Greenville

The Millikin women's basketball team had its offense in high gear defeating Greenville University 100-57 on November 6 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.
 
The Big Blue started the game on a 13-0 run and ended the first quarter with a 26-10 lead. Millikin lead 58-26 at the half. Millikin shot 63 percent (39-62) from the field including going 9-17 (53 percent) from three-point range. Greenville was held to 32 percent from the field (21-65). Millikin won the rebounding battle 39-31.
 
Bailey Coffman led the Millikin scoring attack with 26 points. Elyce Knudsen added 24 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Jordan Hildebrand had 10 points and six rebounds. The Big Blue had 12 players score in the game.
 
Greenville's top scorer was Emily Reinneck with 11 points.
 
Millikin in now 2-0 and will host Beloit College on November 10 at 7 p.m. Greenville is now 0-2.
