Big Blue Men’s Soccer Downs Elmhurst

The Millikin men's soccer team improved to 3-0 on the season defeating Elmhurst College 2-1 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois on April 9.
 
Elmhurst jumped out to a lead 48 seconds into the match when Ethan Kovach turned a defensive steal into a Bluejays goal.
 
Millikin tied the game at the 5:52 mark when Johannes Smaaberg scored off a nice pass from senior Russell Pruitt. The Big Blue scored the game winner at 42:54 when Seth Crull scored off a rebounded save off a shot from Andreas Raaket.
 
Jon Kuebler earned the win in goal with six saves.
