Big Blue Baseball Loses at Augustana

The Millikin baseball team lost at Augustana College 11-1 in seven innings on May 2 in Rock Island, Illinois.
 
The Vikings scored a single run in the first before breaking out for four runs in the third innings. Augustana added five runs in the sixth and one in the seventh to end the game.
 
Millikin was limited to two hits in the game with the Big Blue's run coming on a seventh inning home run by Frank Bryan.  Vikings starter Alec Michaelson held Millikin to one hit over six innings to earn the victory.
 
Alec McGinnis was 3-4 for Augustana.  The Vikings got home runs from Michael Gattuso and Mitchell Owens.
 
Millikin falls to 20-11, 13-10 while Augustana improves to 26-6, 18-6.
