Millikin Men’s Soccer Ties Carthage

The Millikin men's soccer team tied Carthage College 1-1 in double overtime at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur on September 25.
 
The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) opener was scoreless until the 80th minute when Noah Smeja scored for Carthage.
 
The Big Blue got some late game heroics from Seth Crull who tied the game with 45 seconds left in regulation off an assist from Simen Nodland.
 
Carthage out shot Millikin 31-6 in game. Millikin goalie Jon Kuebler was strong in the net with 14 saves.
 
Millikin is now 0-6-2 while Carthage improves o 6-1-2.
