Millikin's O'Malley named CCIW Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Millikin senior Hailey O'Malley was selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week on Tuesday.

A native of Mokena, Illinois and Lincoln-Way East High School, O'Malley finished second at Millikin's H.W. Wright Classic on Friday at South Shores Park in Decatur, Illinois. Her time of 24:06.8 was the 22nd-fastest time in school history and a personal record by 20 seconds. The Big Blue took six of the top 10 spots and won the eight-team event with 29 points.
