Millikin Women’s Soccer Rolls Past IC

The Millikin women's soccer team rolled over Illinois College 4-0 on September 29 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur.
 
Millikin scored three first half goals to take control of the game. Maddy Wood scored the Big Blue's first two goals. Wood scored in the 14th minute off a loose ball in front of the net to make it 1-0 Millikin. Wood then scored from 20 yards out off an assist from Faith Marinier at 15:47. Bailee Blecker made it 3-0 Big Blue at 26:57 with the assist going to Hannah Henson. Millikin's final goal was in the 71st minute by Chloe Klemstein who made a defensive steal and then scored one-on-one against the Lady Blues goalkeeper.
 
Hope Limoges earned the shutout in goal with four saves.
 
Millikin out shot Illinois College 19-7
 
Millikin is now 5-4 while Illinois College falls to 2-7.
