Millikin Women’s Soccer Scores CCIW Win

The Millikin women's soccer team picked up its first College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) win on the season defeating North Park 1-0 on October 1 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
 
Millikin freshman Elly Hermanson scored the game's only goal in the 83rd minute on a shot 25-yards out from goal.
 
North Park out shot Millikin 18-7 in the game, but Big Blue goalkeeper Sophie Dorgan came up big recording nine saves.
 
Millikin is now 3-4-2 while North Park falls to 2-5-2, 0-1-1.
