Men's Soccer Falls at Illinois Wesleyan

The Millikin men's soccer team matched up against Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington, Ill. on Wednesday, October 12 in a College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin contest. The Big Blue conceded two goals in the first half to the Titans, and despite a second half comeback, Millikin fell 1-2.

In the first half, a goal by Brody Seaton in the tenth minute and one off the foot of Declan Nugent in the 29th minute gave the Titans a two-score advantage at the break. The Big Blue's Andres Guzman chipped away at the Titan lead in the 63rd minute with a goal assisted by Eli McClinton, his first of the season.

Millikin was outshot 15-22 by the Titans, with five shots on goal. Big Blue goalkeeper Felix Malm recorded eight saves. 

The Big Blue will look to bounce back in another CCIW contest against Elmhurst University at Frank M. Lindsay Field on Saturday, October 15.
