Big Blue Men’s Soccer Edged by Firebirds

The Millikin men's soccer team lost to Carthage College 2-1 on October 22 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
 
Millikin scored 54 seconds into the game. After Johannes Smaaberg's shot hit the post, Simen Nodland scored off the rebound to put the Big Blue up 1-0
 
Carthage answered at the 2:22 mark on a goal from Christian Hinestrosa to tie the game at 1-1. The Firebirds scored the game winner early in the second period when Jack Georgi stole the ball from a Millikin player and scored on a breakaway goal.
