Women Sixth at CCIW Championships

The Millikin men's cross country team finished in third place and the women were sixth at the 2022 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Championships held at St. James Farm Forest Preserve in Warrenville, Illinois on October 29.
 
The Big Blue men had three runners earn All-Conference honors. Bradyn Olmstead earned First Team honors finishing in 10th place and setting a new Millikin school record covering the 8K course in 25:16.65. Dane Alexander and Austin Bridgman earned CCIW All-Conference Second Team distinction. Alexander finished in 12th in 25:38.54 and Bridgman was 13th in 25:49.74.
 
North Central was the men's champion followed by Carthage College in second with 75 points. Millikin scored 80 points.
 
Alyssa Ruiz earned All-Conference First Team honors with a 10th place finish in the women's race in 23:23.30. Freshman Emma Mallory was 21st in 24:05.53
