Big Blue Wrestling Wins at Augustana

The Millikin wrestling team defeated Augustana College 30-15 at Oregon High School in Oregon, Illinois on December 2. The Big Blue are now 4-0 with all four wins coming against College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) opponents.

The Big Blue opened the match with six straight victories. Zac Blasioli won by technical fall at 125 improving to 7-1 on the season. DJ Millett won 5-2 over Trevor Boryla at 133 taking his record to 7-2 on the season. Jordan Carson (10-0) remained undefeated on the season at 141 pounds winning by technical fall. Peter McCusker won at 149 15-3 (major decision) over Alex Cruz. McCusker is now 11-2 on the year. At 157, Nathan Callaway went to 10-0 with a technical fall win over Chase Clark. Dejon Glaster won at 165 over Dominica Myers-Forster by technical fall upping his record to 7-1.

After A.J. Joiner, picked up a win for the Vikings at 174, Colton Carlisle won for the Big Blue at 184 by decision 8-6. Jacob Badger and Josh Woodrey won the final two weight classes for Augustana.
