Men's Volleyball Felled by Wittenberg

The Big Blue men's volleyball team took the court in the Griswold Center for their second home matchup of the week on Saturday, February 19 against the Tigers of Wittenberg University. The Tigers swept the Big Blue (21-25, 19-25, 17-25). 

Millikin was led at the net by Connor Fosselius with nine kills and four service aces. Kyle Clendenen tallied seven kills. Chelan Beavers was credited with two blocks, Robbie Maida led the team in assists with 19, and Jensen Mast tallied 14 digs.

The Tiger offense was propelled by Dominic Melchiorre with 12 kills and Russel Burke with 10 kills and three service aces. 

In the second set, the Big Blue matched the Tigers point-for-point until a block by Kurt Klamfoth and Burke gave the Tigers an 18-22 advantage. 

The Big Blue will travel to Bloomington, Ill. on Tuesday, February 22 for their second College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin matchup of the season against Illinois Wesleyan.
