Villafana Secures Podium Finish at Reeds Lake Triathlon

The Big Blue women's triathlon team traveled to East Grand Rapids, Mich. on Saturday, September 10 for the Rhoades McKee Reeds Lake Triathlon. Senior Sarahi Villafana recorded a podium finish, taking third in a time of 1:18.57.

Julia Druml placed seventh in a time of 1:23.26. Shay Buchanan was in eighth with a time of 1:24.16.

Millikin placed third in the team standings and will continue to prepare for the national qualifier in October.
