Millikin Women’s Basketball Rolls Over Elmhurst

The Millikin women's basketball team remained undefeated in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) action winning at Elmhurst University 94-43 on January 18, 2023 in Elmhurst, Illinois. It was the Big Blue's 11th straight victory and improves Millikin record to 14-3, 8-0.
 
Millikin controlled the game from the start getting off to a 9-0 run. The Big Blue didn't allow Elmhurst to score a basket from the field until six seconds left to play in the first quarter. Millikin lead 27-3 at the end of the first quarter. The Big Blue lead 58-18 at halftime.
 
Millikin had 12 players score in the game with three scoring in double figures. Elyce Knudsen led the way with 22 points, seven rebounds and three assists. Bailey Coffman added 17 points and Sarah Isaf chipped in 12 points. Chelsea McCullum and Emily White each scored eight.
 
Millikin shot 48.6 percent (34-70) from the field an made 11-24 (45.8 percent) from three-point range. Elmhurst was held to 23 percent from the field (13-56) and went 1-11 from beyond the arc. Millikin won the rebounding battle 40-39. Millikin forced Elmhurst into 25 turnovers while committing only five. The Big Blue scored 32 points off of turnovers.
