Millikin Wrestling Defeats Concordia-Wisconsin

The Millikin wrestling team defeated Concordia-Wisconsin 36-18 at the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Duals in Mequon, Wisconsin on January 21.

The Big Blue wrapped up the duals portion of its schedule with a 10-6 record overall and 7-1 in the CCIW.

The match saw seven matches decided by pins with Millikin winning at four weight classes.

Millikin started the match with Tommy Russell winning by fall at 3:31 and Coby Haney scored a win by fall at the 4:32 mark to give the Big Blue a quick 12-0 advantage.
DJ Millett won at 141 pounds 6-4 before Peter McCusker scored another win by fall at 149. After Nathan Callaway picked up a win by forfeit at 157, Millikin was up 27-0.
Dejon Glaster had Millikin's final win by fall at 165 and Nick White won for the Big Blue at 174 10-4.

Trailing 36-0, Concordia-Wisconsin closed out the match with three straight victories by fall.
