Men’s Soccer Falls to Titans

The Millikin men's soccer team lost to Illinois Wesleyan University 2-1 on October 11 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois.
 
The Titans opened the scoring in the 24th minute on a goal from Eli Warren.
 
The Big Blue would tie the game in the 60th minute on a goal from Nico Sahilices with the assist going to Olav Kaldahl.
 
Logan Shumaker scored the game winner for the Titans with under three minutes to play on a long shot from 25 yards out. Sasha Tylnyy was credited with the assist.
 
The Big Blue outshot the Titans 10-4.
 
Sam Kedzior had three saves in goal for Illinois Wesleyan including turning back a Millikin penalty kick.
 
Millikin is now 5-6-1, 1-3-1 while Illinois Wesleyan improves to 4-4-3, 2-1-2.
