Millikin Wrestling Opens Season Nationally Ranked

DECATUR, Illinois—The Millikin wrestling team opens the 2023-24 season ranked tied for 21st in country in the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Preseason Rankings released on October 31.

Two Millikin wresters are ranked in the top 15 in the NWCA Individual Preseason rankings. Senior Zac Blasioli is ranked fourth at 125 pounds and sophomore Nathan Callaway is ranked 11th at 157. Blasioli is a returning All-American after a fifth place finish at the 2023 NCAA Division III Championships. Blasioli was 27-5 last season winning the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) title at 125 pounds.
Callaway returns after going 23-5 last season at 157.

Additional Millikin returners include two-time CCIW Champion Dejon Glaster at 174 pounds and All-Conference performer Coby Haney at 133. Haney was 22-8 last season.

Millikin opens its season on November 2 in duals against Concordia-Wisconsin and Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) in Milwaukee.
