Big Blue Wrestling Host Millikin Open

The Millikin wrestling team hosted it annual Millikin Open held on November 11 at the Decatur Indoor Sports Center. No team scores were kept for the event.

Millikin won three weight classes with one second place finish and three third place finishers.

Nathan Callaway won at 157 pounds going 4-0 in the tournament. He had three technical fall victories and one major decision. He defeated Colby Tool of Central College 15-0 in the Championships match.

Joey Jens was the Champion at 165 pounds going 4-0 with two bonus point victories. He defeated Michael Hutchison of Millikin in the final 16-1. Hutchison finished in second place with a 3-1 record.

Dejon Glaster won the 174 pound weight class going 3-0 on the day with two pins. Glaster won the Championship match 12-8 over Nathan Rosas of Central College.

Coby Haney finished in third place at 133 pounds going 4-1 on the day. He defeated Tyler Davis of Adrian by Fall at 44 seconds to win the Third Place match. Haney had three technical fall victories on the day.

Cade Scott took third at 197 pounds with 4-1 record. He won the third place match by fall over Jackson Beck-Calvert of Augustana.

Leno Campbell took home third at 285 pounds. Campbell had a 4-1 record with a third place match win over Cam'ron Harper of Aurora 5-2.
