Big Blue Men Fall to Hot Shooting Cougars

The Millikin men's basketball team lost to Concordia University-Chicago 104-70 on November 18 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois.
 
The story of the game was the hot shooting performance by the Cougars who made 61 percent (39-64) from the field and went 18-30 (60 percent) from beyond the three-point arc. Millikin shot 47 percent from the field (24-51) and went 8-22 (36 percent) from three point range. Concordia-Chicago out rebounded Millikin 31-20.
 
The Cougars led 52-38 at halftime.
 
Millikin had three players score in double figures led by Chase Travis with 14 points and five rounds. Landon Hullinger added 12 points and Jaden McClain had 10 points, six assists and five rebounds.
 
Concordia-Chicago had five players score in double figures led by Jordan Matthews with 21. Emanuel Wilson added 20 followed by Sean Beckman with 16, Brent Hatten with 13 and Justin Greenlee with 11 points and a team high nine assists.
 
Millikin falls to 2-2 while Concordia improves to 1-2.
