Women's Tennis Drops Season Opener against Lake Forest

The Big Blue women's tennis team traveled to Plainfield, Ill. on Saturday, April 26 to kick off their 2023-24 campaign at North Central's tournament. After scrimmaging the host Cardinals that they will meet later in the season, the Big Blue matched up with the Foresters of Lake Forest College, falling in a 1-8 contest.

The lone victory for Millikin came at No. 1 singles with the partnership of Emily Markus and D Galvan victorious in an 8-6 match over Margaret Bugnacki and Sofia Strupovets. 

The Big Blue will be back in action for their home opener at Fairview Park for the Dorothy McClure Tournament on Saturday, September 9.
