Women's Triathlon Competes at NCAA West Regional

The Big Blue women's triathlon team traveled to West Springfield, Mo. on Saturday, October 12 for the NCAA West Regional to attempt to qualify for the NCAA National Triathlon occurring in Clermont, Fla. on Saturday, November 9.

Aly Barnes was the top finisher, coming in in a time of 1:18:22 for 70th place in a race that included athletes from all three NCAA divisions, finishing her swim in a time of 10:42.

Anjaleah Knowles crossed the finish line next to finish 96th overall in a time of 1:25:48. Kendall Rossignol placed 105th in a time of 1:28:53. Then, it was Amanda Fathman in 1:30:52. Yoanna Barajas rounded out the scoring athletes in a time of 1:36:24.

The Big Blue will finish out their Fall 2024 campaign in November at the national triathlon race.
