Men's Soccer Downed by UW-Whitewater

The Big Blue men's soccer team returned to the pitch at Frank M. Lindsay Field for their third consecutive home match on Wednesday, October 9 for a matchup with the visiting Warhawks from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

In a match that saw Millikin get outshot 9-17, the Big Blue fell 0-3.

Whitewater got on the board early, scoring on a corner kick goal in the eighth minute when Aidian Martin lofted the ball to Hayden Saul, heading it into the right corner. Martin would score a goal himself in the 22nd minute, then assist another header on a corner kick, this time to Miles Hagen in the 40th minute to put the Big Blue down 0-3 at the half. 

Chase Mandra notched three saves in goal, and Aaron Zoellner recorded one save. 

Millikin men's soccer will return to College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin play on Saturday, October 12 when they travel to Waukesha, Wis. for a matchup with Carroll.
