Men's Tennis Season Ends in First Round of CCIW Tournament

The Big Blue men's tennis team traveled to Waukesha, Wis. on Thursday, May 2 for the opening round of the 2024 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Tournament. As the #7 seed, they were slated for a matchup with the #2 seed Carthage. 

The Firebirds downed the Big Blue in five straight. In doubles play, Cole Phillips and Theodor Wolf put up a fight falling 5-8 to Elios Briand and Myles Krzewinski. In two doubles, the team of Esteban Durand and Matthew Kordesh fell in a 6-8 contest to Cooper Ferruzzi and Francisco Silverira.

After losing both doubles matches, the Big Blue lost their final three matches by default.

Millikin finished the season 3-8.
