Lett’s Departure Leaves Millikin Searching for New Head Women’s Basketball Coach

DECATUR, Illinois—The Millikin University Athletics Department will begin an immediate search for a new head women's basketball coach after the departure of Head Coach Olivia Lett for a new head coaching position. The official announcement of Lett's new position will be made next week.

In six seasons, Lett led Millikin to a 105-48 overall record. The Big Blue won two College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin regular season titles and two conference tournament crowns under her leadership. Lett led Millikin to three appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament.

"We are extremely gratefully for the impact Coach Lett has had on the Millikin women's basketball program over the last six years," said Millikin's Director of Athletics Dr. Craig White. "We wish Olivia well in her new endeavor. I am committed to finding a head coach that will be able to continue the great tradition of the Millikin women's basketball program."
