The Big Blue women's tennis team looked to bounce back from the 0-7 defeat against North Park in their opening College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin matchup as they met a second set of Vikings on Saturday, September 14. They were unable to avoid the sweep two days in a row and fell 0-7 to Augustana.

The team of Emily Markus and Christina Borunda fell at No. 1 doubles 4-6 to Hannah Colbert and Colleen Larry.

In singles play, Markus took a set from Colbert, falling 4-6, rallying to win 6-3, then falling 5-10 in the tiebreaker set.

Millikin women's tennis will be back in action on Wednesday, September 18 when they head to Bloomington, Ill. for a matchup with the Titans of Illinois Wesleyan University.
