Women's Triathlon Wins Home Splash & Dash

The Millikin women's triathlon team hosted the Prairie State Cup's Splash & Dash on Friday, September 20, taking first in the race.

Brenna Pacheco placed first, finishing in a time of 16:08. Anjaleah Knowles placed second, posting the fastest swim time with a 6:25 to finish in a total time of 17:00. Karson Bluette rounded out the top three with a time of 17:44. Yoanna Barajas placed fifth in a time of 18:00.

With a team score of 45, the Big Blue were the victors, followed by Northern Kentucky University with 23 points.

The Big Blue will host the Prairie State Cup on Saturday, September 21 with the start time set for 11:30 AM at Lake Clinton in Clinton, Ill.
