Millikin Women’s Soccer Picks up Eighth Win of the Season

The Millikin women's soccer team defeated Greenville University 2-0 on September 25 at Frank M. Lindsay Field in Decatur, Illinois. The Big Blue conclude the non-conference portion of its schedule with an 8-0-1 record.
 
After a scoreless first half, Millikin scored in the 54th minute when Izzy Jones found the back of the net off an assist from Alyssa Analitis. Sophomore Caitlyn Kopera scored her first collegiate goal to give Millikin a 2-0 advantage at the 63:47 mark.
 
Madalyn Everly earned the shutout in goal with one save.
 
Millikin opens College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) on Saturday, September 28 traveling to Carthage College.
