Millikin Wrestling Drops Two at National Duals

The number 17 ranked Millikin wrestling team dropped two matches at the NWCA National Duals on January 11 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. The Big Blue finished the event with a 1-3 record and are now 12-3 on the season.

On Saturday, Millikin lost to #24 Cornell 24-17 and to Dubuque 25-15

Senior Coby Haney, ranked eighth in NCAA Division III at 133 pounds, won both his matches to remain undefeated at 15-0. Haney defeated Eli Sneed 10-1 (MD) and Tanner Higa of Dubuque 7-2. Fifth ranked Dejon Glaster won both his matches defeating Dahson Dejong of Cornell 18-8 (MD) and Zane Pannell of Dubuque 17-5 (MD). Glaster is now 17-1 on the season.

Sabri Sino won for the Big Blue against Cornell by a technical fall 17-1 and Leno Campbell won at 285 in a major decision 9-0.

Against Dubuque, Joey Jens and Mason Clem picked up major decision wins for Millikin. Jens won 11-2 at 165 and Clem won 10-0 at 197.
