Big Blue Wrestling Loses to Cardinals

The #17 ranked Millikin wrestling team lost to 10th ranked North Central College 31-7 at the Griswold Center in Decatur, Illinois on January 23.

Millikin is now 12-4 on the season and 5-1 in regular season College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) duals. North Central improves to 10-3 overall and 6-0 in the CCIW. The Cardinals have the upper hand in the race for the regular season title heading into the CCIW Duals on Saturday at Carthage College, which will wrap up regular season conference action.

Millikin picked up two wins in the dual with sophomore Chance Cole winning in sudden victory 10-7 over Harrison Konder at 157. Millikin's other win was at 174 pounds where senior and fifth ranked nationally Dejon Glaster defeated PT Schoolman 17-4 in a major decision.
