Millikin Wrestling Improves to 11-0

The Millikin wrestling team picked up three wins at the UAA vs. CCIW Duals at the University of Chicago on Jan. 4. Millikin defeated Case Western Reserve 37-3, the University of Chicago 24-15 and New York University 29-13.

Millikin's three wins improves its season record to 11-0 leaving the Big Blue three short of the school records for wins-in-a row at 14.

Five Millikin wrestlers picked up three wins on the day. Coby Haney (11-0) remained undefeated at 133 pounds with three wins by decision. Joey Jens improved to 14-0 on the season at 165 pounds with two decisions and a win by fall.

At 149 pounds Chase Mirelez picked up two decisions and a win by fall to improve to 12-2 on the season. Chance Cole picked up three decisions at 157 with two coming in sudden victory. At 174, Dejon Glaster had three bonus point wins with two major decisions and a technical fall. Glaster is now 13-1 on the season.
