DECATUR, Ill. — October 25, 2025 — The Millikin University men's soccer team delivered an impressive offensive performance, defeating Augustana College 4–1 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) play Saturday afternoon at Frank M. Lindsay Field.

The Big Blue overcame an early deficit after Augustana scored on a penalty kick just 31 seconds into the match. Millikin quickly regrouped and equalized in the 31st minute when Bryce Davis netted his ninth goal of the season, assisted by Ryder Ramson.

Millikin came out firing after halftime, scoring three unanswered goals to take control. Landon Welch gave the Big Blue the lead in the 48th minute off a setup from Kyle Grasse, then Grasse added a goal of his own in the 86th minute on an assist from Luke Butler. Just two minutes later, Welch struck again, finishing a pass from Olav Kaldahl to secure the 4–1 victory.

Millikin outshot Augustana 17–11, with 12 shots on goal, while goalkeepers Chase Mandra and Joshua Garrett combined for eight saves in the win.

The Big Blue improve to 6–9–1 overall and 2–4–1 in CCIW play. Millikin returns to action on Wednesday, October 29, amazing Illinois Wesleyan.
