Millikin Wrestling Wins Season Opener

The Millikin wrestling team opened up the 2025-26 season with a 45-6 win over Westminster College in the Griswold Center on November 1 in Decatur, Illinois.

After losing the first match, Millikin posted wins by sophomore Charlie Armstrong (15-10) at 133 and freshman Nathan Barbee (15-5 MD) at 141.

Westminster forfeited at 149 before Millikin Chase Mirelez won at 157 in a major decision 11 and Michael Hutchinson won at 165 in a 9-0 major decision.

The Big Blue scored forfeit wins the other four weight classes.
