Volleyball Notches Three All-Conference Accolades

The Millikin women's volleyball team finished out their College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin campaign with a 5-3 record, 14-13 overall. With the CCIW Tournament starting on Tuesday, November 11, the third-seeded Big Blue will host the sixth-seeded Vikings of Augustana College.

The CCIW announced the 2025 All-Conference teams on Monday, November 10 with the Big Blue earning three places on the list.

Junior middle blocker Kyra Carothers was named to first team honors. The Quincy, Ill. native posted 62 kills in conference play, leading the CCIW with a .405 hitting percentage. She added fifteen service aces and 28.0 total blocks against conference opponents.

Delaney Higgins and Addison Oyer each earned places on the second team. Higgins posted a team-high 96 kills in conference play, seventh in the CCIW in the metric. Defensively, she added 87 digs. Oyer finished out the regular season second in kills for the squad with 81, tenth in the CCIW in the category.

Charley Condill was named the team's RESPECT Award winner. The CCIW RESPECT award is presented at the conclusion of every sports season with each varsity program recognizing one student-athlete. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourages inclusiveness and a positive culture.
