The Millikin men's basketball team continued its undefeated start to the 2025-26 season, securing a 75-66 win over Illinois College on Tuesday night.

The Big Blue held a narrow 38-36 lead at halftime before using a strong second-half surge to take control. Millikin's efficient shooting and defensive pressure proved to be the difference, as they shot an impressive 50% from the field and 52.4% from beyond the arc.

Ian Winkler paced the Big Blue with 23 points on 7-for-11 shooting, including four made threes, while adding seven rebounds and two assists. Nate Straughter added 16 points and two steals, and Lane Thomann contributed 18 points and seven rebounds. Chris Ketchum provided a valuable boost off the bench with 11 points and six rebounds.

As a team, Millikin knocked down 11 three-pointers and won the rebounding battle 35–26. The Big Blue also made 12-of-18 free throws..

With the win, Millikin improves to 4-0 on the season and will look to continue their momentum on Friday, when they face Ripon College.
