Millikin Track Athletes Earn Weekly CCIW Honors

NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) selected its Men's Indoor Track & Field Student-Athletes of the Week on Wednesday for competitions scheduled between Monday, Feb. 3 and Sunday, Feb. 9.

Track: 4x400 Meter Relay (Dayton Lasack, Colin Griffin, Emmet Emmons, Awstace Grauer), Millikin
The Millikin relay squad placed third at the Indiana State Fairgrounds Invite last Saturday in Indianapolis. The relay time of 3:18.54 was a season best, fastest in the CCIW and 17th in Division III this season.

Field: Kyle Hensley, Millikin, Sophomore (Mount Zion, Ill.)
Hensley's final mark of 5.00 meters placed him second in the pole vault in Indianapolis last Saturday. The performance was tied for fifth-best nationally this winter.
