Women's Tennis Wraps up Season with Loss to Top-Seeded Cardinals

The Big Blue women's tennis team traveled to Bloomington, Ill. for their second matchup of the 2025 CCIW Women's Tennis Championships as the hosts at the Evergreen Racquet Club, taking on the top-seeded North Central Cardinals after winning the play-in match against Elmhurst.

The Big Blue quickly fell behind 0-1, falling in both doubles matches 0-6 to give North Central the doubles point. 

After losing the No. 5 and No. 6 singles matches due to forfeit, Abigail Penados defeated Emily Markus at No. 1 0-6, 2-6 to secure the victory for the Cardinals.
