The Big Blue women's tennis team took the courts at the Fairview Park Tennis Complex in Decatur, Ill. for their opening matchup of the 2025-26 campaign on Wednesday, September 3 against Illinois College. Millikin was bested by the Lady Blues in a 1-6 contest in their season opener.

Kristen Armstrong picked up her first collegiate career victory at No. 4 singles, defeating Sabrina Ingram 7-5, 2-6, 11-9.

Addi Ross and Sarah Parsons put up a fight at No. 2 doubles, falling in a close 5-7 contest to Ingram and Morgan Keefe.

The Big Blue will hit the courts again on Saturday, September 6 against reigning College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin champions, North Central College in Naperville, Ill.
