Millikin traveled to LaGrange to open their 2026 season and earned a 4–3 comeback victory Friday.
LaGrange jumped out early, scoring three runs in the first inning to take an early lead. Millikin began chipping away in the third when Pete Britton singled through the right side to drive in Leyton Ivers. Britton later scored on a passed ball to cut the deficit to 3–2.
The Big Blue tied the game in the fourth inning when Kolby Koslofski singled down the right-field line, bringing home Easton Steck.
Millikin took the lead for good in the eighth inning. Easton Steck tripled to center field and later scored on another RBI single from Koslofski to make it 4–3.
Nolan Reiman earned the win in relief, pitching 4.1 innings while allowing just two hits and striking out two. Kolby Koslofski led the offense, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs.
Millikin will face LaGrange again tomorrow in a doubleheader beginning at 2:00 p.m. ET.
